About Western Rockingham Middle
Western Rockingham Middle School (formerly Madison-Mayodan Middle School) changed names after consolidating with Stoneville School. In the fall of 1991, WRMS moved to its present location (the old Madison-Mayodan High School Campus).
WRMS student population derives from Madison, Mayodan, Stoneville and Stokesdale communities. We are a very diverse school with a growing Hispanic population.

From Greensboro:
Take Highway 220 North.
When you approach Madison, take the 220 Business exit.
As you go around the cloverleaf, continue RIGHT at the yield sign and go over the bridge. Go past the Chevrolet dealership and continue until the first stoplight. Take a RIGHT and go to the 3rd Stoplight. This is Decatur Street (220 North Business). Take a LEFT. Continue down Decatur Street through the next 2 stoplights. (You'll go past Fuzzy's BBQ (on left) and McDonald's (on right). At the next light, take a LEFT. This is Ayersville Road. You'll go past New Vision School of Science and Technology (on left). Continue to the next light. Go through the light and Western Rockingham Middle School is on the LEFT.
